We didn't discover this problem from the outside. We lived it.
Trellis was built because we watched revenue fall through the cracks for years across dozens of service businesses — and couldn't find a tool that fixed it.
The pattern we kept seeing.
Across years of working with service-based businesses — HVAC, fire and life safety, plumbing, electrical, restoration — the same pattern kept repeating. Great operators. Good teams. Real customer relationships. And a consistent, invisible leak in the business.
Estimates going cold. Renewals lapsing without a conversation. Technicians identifying additional work on-site that nobody followed up on. Customers who had great experiences never hearing from the company again. And managers who knew opportunities were falling through the cracks but had no way to see where — or fix it consistently.
The problem wasn't that these businesses didn't care about their customers. It was that nobody owned execution of the follow-up. And the tools they had were not built for this problem. So we built Trellis.
Deep operator experience in the exact market we're building for.
Tiffany Gonzalez is the Founder of Trellis, an AI-powered customer follow-up platform built to help service businesses capture revenue that would otherwise slip through the cracks.
After spending more than a decade helping businesses grow through digital marketing and customer engagement, Tiffany saw the same challenge repeated across every industry: busy teams were losing opportunities simply because they didn't have the time or systems to consistently follow up with customers.
She founded Trellis to solve that problem. The platform helps managers and frontline teams turn missed estimates, unfinished conversations, maintenance reminders, referrals, reviews, and existing customer relationships into measurable revenue through simple, structured follow-up.
Tiffany is also the owner of Keep Me Connected, a marketing agency serving businesses across the United States. Her experience working alongside business owners and operations leaders gave her firsthand insight into the operational gaps that inspired Trellis.
Today, Tiffany is focused on building practical AI tools that make teams more effective — not by replacing people, but by helping them strengthen customer relationships, improve accountability, and generate sustainable growth.
Nate is a Branch Manager at a regional fire and life safety company, where he manages a multi-tech service team across multiple service lines. A former Scrum Master consultant at T-Mobile, he brings agile operations and process discipline to Trellis. He is also the first Trellis user — generating $5,750+ in influenced revenue from 9 informal follow-up messages before a structured pilot ever launched.
The principles behind how we build.
Revenue over features
We build things that put money back in our customers pockets. If a feature does not move revenue or save meaningful time, we do not build it.
Operators know their business
Your team knows where the opportunities are. Our job is to operationalize the outreach — not tell you what to prioritize.
Accountability creates consistency
The best follow-up systems are the ones where someone can see whether it happened. Visibility is the accountability mechanism.
Simple wins in a busy operation
Service businesses are not desk jobs. If it takes more than 2 minutes to use, it will not get used. We are fanatical about keeping it simple.
